Ron J. Ward is an Israeli composer and guitarist living in Tokyo, Japan.
At the age of 14, Ron’s dream of becoming a full time masseur exclusively for female models was shattered, as he discovered that no such occupation exists.
He then went on to pursue a different dream of becoming a professional composer and musician.
Mainly an autodidact, most of his musical education comes from books and self planned practice routines. However, he has also studied music and sound for two years at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Art, and composition for three years at the well known Rubin Music Academy in Jerusalem.
Ron is terrible in algebra, and finds it difficult to make even the most simple calculations. When faced with a mathematical question, he will make the dumbest looking facial expression you’ll ever see.
But nevertheless, he is a very talented and proficient composer and guitarist, with a great passion for music from around the world, and even a greater one for rhythm.
“Rhythm is something you either have or don’t have, but when you have it, you have it all over.”
~ Elvis Presley.
